Les Hirondelles is a lovely complex of 2 stone cottages, sympathetically renovated, in a quiet river valley, just minutes from a stunning medieval village with 13th century Templar buildings.
Les Hirondelles is not suitable for children.
With short drives to most of the major attractions of this wonderful area, for example – Sarlat 30 minutes, the painted Lascaux caves 10 minutes – we are situated in a very convenient location.
In Summer the local villages have really fun night markets where you can buy great food – for example the famous duck confit, snails and moules et frites – lots of choice, wine at €5,00 per bottle and a seat at a trestle table shared with the local population, all of this whilst listening to a band. Its a bargain!
Les Hirondelles cottage is a period barn conversion on 3 floors with exposed stonework and beams, comfortable furniture and good beds.
It has a small enclosed courtyard style garden with a pretty dining terrace and its own private entrance and parking.
There is access to the larger communal gardens with their multiple relaxing areas.
A small plunge pool for cooling off is available and a full size pool is available,in the village, 7 days a week for our guests.
The cottage has a comfortable open plan style with a lounge area and a kitchen/diner, the kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs. French doors lead to the garden with its covered eating terrace.
